like a prophet

when you speak
let it be your tongue that is on fire
and not your pants
may your words
ignite positive action
positively
may your actions
show deep love and concern for your brother
always
starting right here
after services
in the parking lot

Peace ~ Rene

  2. In the winter, i like to think that when I don't wear a coat my body is burning calories. Our school secretary and I tease each other that "if anyone wants me, I'll be out in the parking lot-losing weight."

  8. Ditto! It's important to pracice what you preach (or heard preached) because all too many folks go to church and as soon as they're out the door, the gossip starts!

Have a great weekend, Renee :-)

waiting for the boss

this is the story of a girl who lived in the basement of the girl next door sheltered in the confines of a  suburban tract house dungeon; her punishment for runnin' wild with dreams half unlatched she ran like a spirit in the night from those badlands wind blowin' through her hair shielding her eyes from the blinding light she hugged onto a shoreline of hope someday soon, she's not sure when her savior will rise up from the streets with an armload of rain soaked roses and second chances Rene ~ 2010 Click  Here   to join Magpie Tales creative writing group .
