November Lace

"November Lace"
Rene 2009

  1. There's something very elegant and wistful about bare branches against a gray sky.

  2. These are beauties. They do make me want to crawl under a blanket for about 6 months however.

  3. I love the way that the two photos meet!

  4. I'm with IB. There's something about naked trees against the light of autumn that makes me lonely...

  5. I just love your header. I'm always bitching about people who name their blogs things that don't have any meaning or use ramblings, musings or any of those words. Yours is perfect!

  6. Gives it the ol CREEPY look for Halloween kinda. I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!

  7. Just came here from 29th blackstreet blog and I am enjoying the lovely photography and the wonderful title of your blog!

  8. I guess this means you've been raking?

  9. "November Lace", what a perfect title for these lovely photos! Nicely done.

  10. simply beautiful.
    good eye.
    thank you for sharing them.

  11. Sunning photos, Rene. I don't want to stop looking at them!

    Thank you!

  12. Ah....the season of lace ;)
    Love it!

Have a certain little one check the mail come Friday/Sat. ok?

  13. as above
    so below

    it *is* awesome, isn't it!
    love how you look up.
    always! up!

  14. I'm with IB: they make me wanna do the same. But I loved reading your welcome,'s such a relief to read something like that. I also don't have stat counters, widgets, or anything to figure out who came, how many, what time, or whatever. I often want to turn my comments off, too....but maintain it in the mood of reciprocating with those who do come. But I love the anonymity of blogging visitors, of making a welcome place, and putting out the chairs. I think I'm gonna copy your chair club, and put a few out for people....:)

There was a haunting beauty behind her eyes, beyond her sorrow, a beauty that found its way into one’s heart and led them home.
