voyager

i recall the tug
the inescapable call
my legs
their journey

a paper crane
tossed through glass
brewing perfect storms
my soul did not flinch

tribal drums coax
wild flickers
from a distance
it's a jungle in here

  2. An inward or outward journey, It's delightful that the lures are there despite the initial crane through the glass and despite the jungle. Go. That's important.

  3. Always enjoy your scrumptious textures...

  4. I feel there's some chaos theory in here. Perhaps we all impose our own experiences upon poetry? Indigo x

don't tread on me

she's still not over the fact that  she is under the ground she speaks in rattly, clattery hissing  voices whenever they come around "I'll reach right up and turn your ankles you unforgivable gits,  for burying me,  prematurely,  over a spell of the coughing fits" so angry with her new residence and  bored a deeper shade of blue she's knocked over her marble marker and broken it clean in two.
