Ah, I think we all do hope that we spark joy in others! This brings us joy in return. Smiles.
ReplyDeletei think that we have to answer that one for ourselves
ReplyDeletewho do we want to be?
It is my definite opinion that YES, you DO spark joy. I wonder about all the treasures that are embedded in nests, fun to imagine.
ReplyDeletemaybe sometimes it's this - sometimes that... i love when i spark joy - i think i don't manage all the time though
ReplyDeleteIt's as coin toss, either way, LOL. I really like this piece! Especially the coin in an unexpected nest. A magpie might enjoy coming home to that!
ReplyDeleteI think there is a spark of joy there... and maybe they are sometimes kept a while as treasures in the nest.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful images and feeling this brings....and an important question to ask ourselves....I hope my answer is always yes!
ReplyDeleteHopefully with joy ~ Lovely and sharp senryu ~
ReplyDeleteI love this simple, yet important question. Elegantly written.

ReplyDeleteJoy all the way!
ReplyDeleteI asked myself a similar question earlier today...
ReplyDeletePearl
You, Pearl, incite riots of sparks
DeleteWhy must it be one or the other? Sometimes we spark joy, sometimes we start fires....
ReplyDeleteAnd sometimes we bring the whole damn inferno :)
DeleteMaybe you can be both..a coin in a birds nest would be a wonderful treasure ..and we all have needs...
ReplyDeleteI wonder whom this voice is asking? I hope it's a rhetorical question--I'll read it that way to empower it.
ReplyDeleteSome questions cannot be answered by oneself, but must be put to others. This little piece sparked a quick flash of joy.
