tempus fidelis

image: crilleb50 via magpie tales

long
have
i tried
to press you
into fulfillment
will i never learn from the past?

i
sit
and wait,
you always
arrive gracefully
it is my weak faith that stumbles

i
count
you as
my only
true fascination
yet time spent alone with you, rare.
