dreamscapes

bed headed
dandelion
sunshine freckles
spill out

from
hole-in-the-bucket
cereal bowl
daydreams

tripping on
shoelaces
winding
gloriously

green eyed
and untied
jungle vines
tangled up

and tugging
fists full
of nobody's home
knock knock jokes

giggled
to a
monkey
playing

matchbook
love songs
on a tinker toy
piano

close your eyes
and sing along
unbelievably
off key

into the
stracciatella
cirrus sky
let it go

kick out all
the tent pegs
and
let it flow

  5. This is an excellent abstract poem - it works as ekphrasis and stands alone as a most unusual view of daily living.

  6. Wowsers Rene, I loved this. It's elusive to me, but I love the flow of it, the pictures, even if I see only parts of the whole. Indigo x

  8. I especially love the cereal bowl daydreams. Makes me think of childhood. Until the stracciatella cirrus sky, which is amazing.

  10. I just love these lines:

    tangled up

    and tugging
    fists full
    of nobody's home
    knock knock jokes

And the idea of kicking out the tent pegs.
