time and patience

waiting
aching
sensibility shaken
hope is gelatinous

time a river
of sand

i want to punch
through dimensions
like rice paper
and cover us

growing inside
of me - you

this time
victorious
quietly
miraculous

I wait with joy
full of grace

a warrior
of the good fight
to name a love
to kiss a life

“The strongest of all warriors are these two — Time and Patience.”
― Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

  1. i want to punch through dimensions like rice paper cover us...really intriguing line...and then it turns to seemingly pregnancy...what a miracle that is...smiles...and some of the greatest waiting is for that new life....

  3. Time a river of sand~says it so well.
Could feel the power in the punch
But in the end, glad it's a happy waiting

  9. exquisite Rene...truly! I am wondering, would you like to participate in the gratitude quilt this year? This will be the fourth year I'm working with others to create this quilt of words on my blog and it is quite amazing to read all the words of thanks linked together. To learn more about the quilt and how to add a "patch" of your own to it, visit my blog. At the top you will find links to quilts from other years.
