autumn morning

join Magpie Tales
do you dream
as I do
of love sudden and shocking
eliciting
the chatter of teacups
feverishly thrusting
into heated debate

can you find a moment
as you brush by
me and onto your routine
to take me,
breathless,
to the beautiful
we once knew

    1. yes. it is sad. I don't know why I went in that direction but that's where I was led to create this. Gotta follow the muse. :) And yeah, they have to talk. It's been a while.

  4. I sense the complacency of lovers, forgetting but not forgetting the sparks of beginning, now dampened by time and routine...wonder if the other will come to this realization before it's too late?

    1. It's not so much the wrongness as it is that maybe things were too right, too comfortable which led to complacency and making do. I guess :)
