  1. There's something very elegant and wistful about bare branches against a gray sky.

  2. These are beauties. They do make me want to crawl under a blanket for about 6 months however.

  4. I'm with IB. There's something about naked trees against the light of autumn that makes me lonely...

  5. I just love your header. I'm always bitching about people who name their blogs things that don't have any meaning or use ramblings, musings or any of those words. Yours is perfect!

  14. I'm with IB: they make me wanna do the same. But I loved reading your welcome, Rene....it's such a relief to read something like that. I also don't have stat counters, widgets, or anything to figure out who came, how many, what time, or whatever. I often want to turn my comments off, too....but maintain it in the mood of reciprocating with those who do come. But I love the anonymity of blogging visitors, of making a welcome place, and putting out the chairs. I think I'm gonna copy your chair club, and put a few out for people....:)

i don't like eggs but you knew this already i know you're thinking such a terrible waste but it's not, you see i'm feeding them to the dog she loves them just as much as i know she loved you and the way you walked her as if every single thing she sniffed mattered to you as well sorry, dear pardon my red wine opera crowd violin string tugging (your words) i ramble at breakfast like a fussy percolator but you knew this already morning is when i am most honest and vulnerable i know that's why you left after dinner oh god dammit you i miss you so much what i did before us is a mystery and what i do now is insanity i'm frying up eggs just to smell them again and to perhaps coax you down, from wherever you are for breakfast did you know i believe that there is still a ghost of a chance Rene Foran ~  April 2011 photo by Tess Kincaid for Magpie Tales click for more info
